Sponsor Lasagna

Lasagna is, and will remain, fully open source under the MIT licence. Every feature ships in the public package; no premium tier, no locked features, no "sponsor edition". The whole point of this section is to give people who already get value out of the package a way to keep it healthy.

If your team relies on Lasagna in production, or if a feature here saved you a sprint of in-house work, sponsoring funds the next sprint of maintenance. That's it.

Why sponsor?

Three honest reasons:

Predictable maintenance

Sponsorship pays for the time it takes to triage issues quickly, review community PRs the same week they land, and keep the doctor checks current with new versions of @adonisjs/lucid and BullMQ. The first ten sponsors directly fund weekly office hours on Discord.

Roadmap visibility

Sponsors see the next-quarter roadmap before it hits the public backlog. Your name lands at the top of the issues we triage. You can veto features that would bloat the package; saying "no" is a maintainer's most expensive vote and we want yours informed.

Direct line to the maintainer

A private channel in Discord. A response within 48 hours on production issues. No SLA, no contract; just the same line of support a sponsor of any modern OSS project gets.

How to sponsor

Two equally good options. Pick the platform you already have a relationship with:

  • GitHub Sponsors; recurring monthly tiers, billed via your existing GitHub billing.
  • Polar.sh; same idea, with a richer event/issue layer if your team wants to fund specific issues directly.

Links land here once the GitHub Sponsors profile and Polar.sh page are set up (both are part of the v2.0.0 stable launch).

What sponsorships do not unlock

Worth saying out loud:

  • They do not unlock proprietary features. Every sponsor sees the same source tree as a free user.
  • They do not entitle anyone to override licence terms. The MIT licence applies uniformly.
  • They do not create implied warranty or support contracts. Production-grade support contracts are a separate conversation (and currently we don't offer them; too small a team).

Once you're a sponsor

You'll get:

  • A sponsor role and access to #sponsors-only in the Discord.
  • Your name (or company logo) listed under "Sponsors" on this page, ordered by tier.
  • Early access to release candidates.
  • An invite to the quarterly roadmap call.

The first ten sponsors also get permanent shoutouts in the v2.0.0 stable release notes.

Other ways to help (if money isn't an option)

We mean this; funding is one of many ways to make a project healthier:

  • File good issues. Reproducible bug reports save hours.
  • Review PRs. A second pair of eyes on a community PR is gold.
  • Write a blog post. Tag #adonisjs-lasagna and we'll repost it from the official channel once we have one.
  • Submit a showcase. See the showcase page; even one real-app submission helps every adopter who comes after you.
