Introduction

@adonisjs-lasagna/saas-tenancy is a schema-based PostgreSQL multi-tenancy package for AdonisJS 7. It assumes you'll need every piece of operational plumbing a real SaaS eventually wants (circuit breakers, replicas, audit logs, webhooks, backups, SSO, quotas, Stripe billing) and ships them as opt-in satellites instead of a god-class.

One sentence

Each tenant lives in its own PostgreSQL schema. Everything else (cache, drive, mail, queue, session, broadcasts) is scoped automatically through `AsyncLocalStorage`. You write your app. Lasagna handles the seams.

What you get

• Four isolation drivers: schema-pg (default), database-pg, rowscope-pg, sqlite-memory. Pluggable through a single contract.
• Five bootstrappers: cache, drive (filesystem), mail, session, broadcasting. Each scoped to the active tenant via AsyncLocalStorage. Database routing is handled by the active isolation driver itself, not as a separate bootstrapper.
• Nine satellites: audit logs, feature flags, webhooks, branding, SSO, metrics, quotas, impersonation, Stripe billing. None required, all consistent.
• Operational kit: tenant:doctor (ten checks, --fix, --watch, --json), backups with retention tiers, read replicas, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, health probes, and a per-dependency fail-open/fail-closed resilience policy.
• 33 ace commands spanning provisioning, migrations, backups, cloning, exec-under-tenant, maintenance mode, REPL, billing.
• REST admin API: 36 endpoints, OpenAPI 3.1 spec, Swagger UI.

What you don't get (yet)

• MySQL or MariaDB. Schemas are a Postgres-native concept and the package leans into them.
• An admin dashboard UI. Only the REST API. The Inertia + Vue dashboard is on the v2 roadmap.
• A starter kit. create-lasagna-saas is roadmap, not shipping.
